Job responsibilities/focus areas include:
Embedded hardware and firmware characterization and vulnerability analysis of foreign weapon systems including missiles and radars.
Development of custom circuit boards, embedded software, and test equipment for specialized test equipment to power, operate, monitor, and characterize the hardware being studied.
Supporting weapon system testing in the field including missile launches and radar acquisition and tracking tests.
Candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
Candidate must demonstrate strong competency using PC or microcontroller-based assembly language.
Candidate must demonstrate strong competency designing and analyzing systems using analog and digital hardware.
Candidate must demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills.
Candidate must be a resident of or be willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama Area.
Experience in debugging of complex devices or systems using standard digital and analog test equipment is desired.
Experience working with FPGAs, microprocessors, and digital signal processors in a hands-on environment are desired.
Candidate must be a US Citizen
Possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.
