Dynetics is expanding its critical infrastructure security technology business, through which we serve the utility, airport, rail, petrochemical, oil and gas, and other commercial and public sectors with the GroundAware® surveillance sensor product line. We are currently seeking a proactive, forward-looking marketing manager who will collaborate with business and technology leaders from within the company to develop and execute outreach strategies that brand Dynetics as a thought leader and strategic partner in the critical infrastructure security surveillance technology market.
The marketing manager will be responsible for understanding critical infrastructure markets, including buyers and competitors, with the objective of creating, packaging, and conveying content that positions Dynetics and its products with key audiences that impact business success. Audiences to understand and target include prospective and current customers, resellers, media, analysts, consultants, industry associations, and relevant government agencies.
This role will manage development and dissemination of timely and relevant content through various means, including participation by Dynetics thought leaders as speakers, paper presenters, and panel participants at industry events; targeted social media channels such as LinkedIn, YouTube, and Facebook; online outreach such as websites and webinars; press campaigns; and other typical marketing methods such as trade show and conference exhibitions, advertising, marketing collateral, and presentations. The marketing manager must possess the ability to work with senior-level business and technical professionals to leverage diverse expertise across Dynetics to gain, package, and share information insights on the company’s products and services as well as industry issues and themes that matter most to audiences that impact business. The ability to meet the needs of our various audiences and effectively communicate to them is a must for this position.
Plan and coordinate marketing and thought leadership strategies, including messages, audience targeting, and communication tactics
Serve as chief editor for the creation and production of regularly distributed content via specific and general distribution channels
Coordinate and collaborate with thought leaders, both business and technical subject matter experts, across a spectrum of expertise and functions for content development
Deliver impactful content in multiple formats to variety of audiences
Manage and execute major communication projects for outreach to target audiences, including long-term thought leadership programs, trade shows and other events, press/analyst campaigns, video/multimedia materials, marketing collateral, white papers, presentations, etc.
Ensure best practices in grammar, messaging, writing, and style to increase overall quality of output
Manage and supervise priorities, deadlines, and projects that may involve multiple contributors
Manage external resources as required
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field with 5+ years of relevant experience as a marketing or communications professional.
· Experience writing and editing white papers, articles, scripts, presentations, speeches, collateral, etc.
· Experience in planning execution of trade shows and other events.
· Experience managing an editorial process and resources, with ability to direct contributors.
· Proven ability to package content across multiple formats to maximize content distribution.
· 20-25% travel likely
