Dynetics, an employee-owned company, is seeking a talentedStructural Engineer/Analystto join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Dynetics provides responsive, cost effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions.
Applicant will be responsible for the integrated analysis of complex systems and structural hardware. The position requires use of analytical methods, finite element models/simulations, and other analysis tools to produce models, and perform calculations and analysis, for structural aerospace components and assemblies. This analysis will include detailed stress analyses utilizing standard industry programs. Candidate will work in a team environment to support conceptual design through product implementation.
The position requires a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
Candidate should have a minimum of 5 years' direct experience performing structural analysis.
Candidate must be able to write technical reports and present data to a multi-disciplined team.
Candidate should have good organizational skills and be detail-oriented.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills are essential for the team environment.
Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.
A proven working knowledge of Femap and/or Nastran is strongly preferred.
Experience with both metallic and composite materials is a plus.
Candidate must be a US Citizen
Possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.
