Dynetics, an employee-owned company, is seeking a talented 2nd Shift CNC Machinist/Programmer to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. Position is responsible for meeting production schedules while maintaining the highest quality standards in a prototyping and low-volume precision machine shop.
Managing 2nd shift staff performance that includes CNC programmers, machinist, and technicians. Rigorously implement company policies and procedures, and work to continuously improve areas of safety, quality, productivity for 2nd shift team.
Applicant must be able to work on different projects in an ever changing, rapid paced R&D environment with little or no assistance.
Basic Qualifications 10+ years of precision machining experience on CNC Mills & CNC Lathes.
Applicant must have experience in programming, setup, and operation of a variety of machine tools including CNC Mills and CNC Lathes.
Qualified candidate must possess a HS diploma along with a degree in machine tool technology and/or credentials verifying formal training in machining technology.
Shift hours will be 4:00 pm - 2:30 am Monday thru Thursday.
Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.
1-5 years of 2D & 3D experience in Cam software, preferably Surfcam.
Experience in the manufacturing of large aerospace components from exotic materials, such as Titanium, is a plus
Security Requirements Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.
